Prince Al-Saud of Saudi Arabia attends 3rd Bosphorus regional cooperation summit

Organized by the International Cooperation Platform (ICP) under the auspices of the president of the Republic of Turkey, the 3rd Bosporus Regional Cooperation Summit hosted on Thursday Prince Turki al-Faisal al-Saud of Saudi Arabia, along with high-ranking bureaucrats and businessmen around the world. Speaking at the event, Prince al-Saud pointed to economic relations between Turkey and Saudi Arabia, stating that the bilateral trade volumes should be higher than current figures. Speaking to the reporters, al-Saud praised the growing power of Turkey in the region and emphasized that Turkey was a growing market thanks to its economic and social development, which puts it in the limelight. Referring to the trade volume between the two countries amounting to $5 billion, al-Saud said that bilateral trade was expected to gain momentum in the upcoming years. "There are similarities between Saudi Arabia and Turkey in terms of economy. They also complement each other," al Saudi said.
