Rotterdam Mayor speaks to the Aksam daily

Speaking to the Aksam daily, Rotterdam Mayor Ahmed Aboutaleb said that the Dutch people have been aware of the great change experienced by Turkey. Stating that each year many Dutch people visit Turkey for tourism or health purposes, Abuotaleb said that they prefer Turkey particularly to undergo eye operations and learn many things from these visits. Abuotaleb also said that the more we get to know each other, the better we will understand each other. "Besides, Rotterdam is very experienced in floods, and we could help Istanbul with this issue, as it has suffered a flood two years ago," Abuotaleb added.
