Speaking to the Zaman daily as part of his visit to Turkey along with a crowded delegation tomorrow, Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff  said that Brazil and Turkey have emerged as rising world powers. Rousseff indicated that foreign policies of the two countries match up with each other, citing the support for recognizing Palestine's statehood as an example. She said that Turkey's "zero problems with neighbors" policy mutadis mutandis correspond to a fully integrated, peaceful and rich South America vision pursued by Brazil, adding that economies of Brazil and Turkey are relatively comparable in many respects. She also criticized the UN's structure, saying that the search for peace and security isn't a responsibility merely belonging to a couple of rich countries, but a commitment of the international society as a whole in line with the UN's definite principles, objectives and tasks.
