Spanish Foreign Minister expresses trust in Turkey

Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Garcia Margallo said, neither a European Union (EU) member nor any other country should tell Turkey how to deal with Gezi Park events. Margollo told reporters that it was timeless to lecture Turkey about how to solve the crisis, saying, "Turkey is a country which could prove that Islam and democracy comply with each other, and a role-model for Arab countries in the democratization process. Neither an EU member nor any other country should tell Turkey how to cope with the Gezi Park events."
