Turkey: A pacesetter for border gates

President of the Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Rifat Hisarciklioglu attended the groundbreaking ceremony of Halkali Customs Office facilities. Speaking at the ceremony, Hisarciklioglu said "Turkey has become a pacesetter in the world for its border gate administration." Underlining that Halkali Customs Office is very crucial for Turkish foreign trade, Hisarciklioglu said "It has served for our exporters, importers, logistics personnel for 30 years. Almost 700 trucks a day are going through customs transactions here."  Hisarciklioglu also highlighted that more than 10% of the foreign trade is taking place at Halkali Customs Office.
