Turkey allows media sone access to Syrians taking shelter
Turkey over the weekend granted limited access to camps in the southern province of Hatay where more than 10,000 Syrians are taking refuge from Damascus' violent crackdown. However, journalists were not allowed to interview most of the refugees in the Boynuyogun camp, located in the Altinozu district – only photos could be taken, with the permission of refugees. Later, some 10 refugees were brought into a tent near the camp entrance to speak to the media, but had difficulty due to faulty translation.
