Turkey is a decision maker, says Davutoglu

Turkey has its part in all decision making processes regarding the crisis in Syria, Foreign Minister Davutoglu told reporters at a press conference on his return from Saudi Arabia. Davutoglu stressed that all parties should weigh the incidents in a calm manner and act responsibly nowadays when the destiny of the Middle East is being reshaped. Touching on the position of the Turkish Armed Forces, Davutoglu said that the army was authorised to take necessary action within the framework of the bill and the rules of engagement, adding that all scenarios are being reviewed and that no one should have doubts about the Turkish army taking action when necessary. Davutoglu also rejected the implications that Turkey would abide by the decisions already made by some parties and underlined Turkey's active role in the decision making process. Davutoglu lastly referred to the chemical attack in Syria and said the use of chemical weapons would be punished in an effective way.
