Turkey pays her final respects to the dynasty

Turkey bids farewell to Neslisah Sultan, a paternal granddaughter of the last Ottoman Caliph Abdulmecid II and maternal granddaughter of the last Ottoman Sultan and Caliph Mehmed VI Vahdettin. After the noon prayer in Istanbul's Yildiz Hamidiye Mosque, a funeral service was held for the deceased Ottoman princess. She was buried in Asiyan Asri Cemetery after the funeral ceremony. Neslisah Sultan’s daughter living in Egypt, the Osmanoglu family, state protocol, as well as Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc were present at the funeral.
