Turkey to be observer member of arctic forum

Attending to "Turkish Foreign Policy in 2012", a conference which was organized by Institute of Strategic Thinking on December 27, Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has stated that Turkey will be a member of every international organization in the following years. He said that the country started works to get observer country status in Arctic forum, which is an arctic region initiative. Regarding to Turkey’s foreign policy in 2012, Davutoglu told: "We have taken risks during Arab Spring by saying Mubarak to leave. We have taken the biggest risk of Turkish foreign policy. Politics is to take the right risk at right time in a moral manner. We will continue to carry out the policy of zero problem wirh neighbors. Turkey’s refugee policy is a legend. One day those refugees will be Turkey’s envoys in Syria. We have exerted much effort to prevent bloodshed in Syria. No world leader has made great efforts as much as us." Davutoglu also said that European history could not be written without Turkey as the country’s history could not be understood without European factor.
