Turkey won't extradite Al-Hashemi premier says

Deputy Premier Bekir Bozdag said that Turkey won’t extradite the Iraqi Vice President, Tariq al-Hashemi despite Interpol’s recent "red bulletin". Noting that the Turkish government is supporting al-Hashemi, Bozdag said Turkey is not obligated to arrest or extradite the fugitive vice president. Speaking at a press conference in Konya, Deputy Foreign Minister Naci Koru also underlined that Interpol's red bulletin on al-Hashemi is not an actual arrest warrant.
