Turkish contractors' association to host FİEC summit in Istanbul

Turkish Contractors' Association (TMB) is set to bring together Turkish contractors, as well as representatives from 33 contractors' Associations in 29 European countries at the summit of the European Construction Industry Federation (FIEC) in Istanbul on June 7-9. As part of the event, a conference on Public Purchases will be also organized.  A press conference is also expected to be held by Turkey's EU Minister and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis, as well as Antonio Tajani, Vice President of the European Commission, responsible for Industry and Entrepreneurship, and presidents of the TMB and FIEC. Reportedly, the current situation of construction sector in Europe and the world, and issues such as the modernization of public purchases, the most advantageous bids, life-long transparency and fair competition will be discussed during the event.
