Turkish profesor receives worldwide leadership award

Professor Sadik Kakac, a faculty member of the TOBB ETU Mechanical Engineering Department, has been deemed worthy of the worldwide leadership award for his permanent and positive contributions to engineering education, as well as his innovations. The award ceremony for Kakac took place on August 1 in Turku, Finland. Kakac, an honorary member of the Turkey Academy of Sciences (TUBA), has been awarded internationally 13 times, and received the Lifetime Success Award from TOBB ETU in 2011.
