Turkish-speaking students from around the world vşsşt education minister
A group of students who are in Turkey to attend the 7th International Turkish Olympiads yesterday paid a visit to Education Minister Nimet Cubukcu. Dressed in their countries' traditional attire, they sang songs and read poems during the visit. Speaking at the gathering, Cubukcu said, "I take great pride in being able to address to you in my own language and know that you understand me. I am very much impressed watching you on TV as you sing songs, perform dances and read poems." Cubukcu expressed her satisfaction and thanked the students. The students then presented gifts from their respective countries to her.
