TUSIAD chairwoman Boyner stresses taht Turkey must consider and set its own direction

Turkish Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (TUSIAD) Chairwoman Umit Boyner yesterday met with European Commission Herman van Rompuy in Brussels. Afterwards, Boyner told a press conference that Turkey has to reconsider at length where it is going and what it wants to be. "We want questions to be asked about what Turkey's values are, what kind of vision moves Turkey, and where exactly Turkey wants to be," she said. "Turkey deserves a platform where its vision is truly discussed, instead of the existing platform for political conflict."
