WB official predicts 4-4,5 pct growth in Turkey this year

Projections call for Turkey's economy to grow between 4 and 4.5% this year, said World Bank Turkey Country Director Ulrich Zachau yesterday. Speaking at a meeting held by the Turkish Economic Policy Research Foundation (TEPAV), Zachau said that current indicators point to 2010 being an improvement over 2009 for both Turkey and the global economy.
