World Bank praises Turkey's economy

World Bank Managing Director Sri Mulyani Indrawati said that Turkey had a sound economic balance. Indrawati also said that Turkey had self-confidence and Turkish economy administration was aware of difficulties and opportunities. Stating that Turkish officials have taken required structural steps, Indrawati said Turkish economy showed a great performance despite fragility in global finance markets. Indrawati added she believed that there would be a sustainable growth in Turkish economy.
