Yasar Kemal awarded honorary doctorate by Bogazici University

Bogazici University yesterday gave an honorary doctorate to prominent Turkish writer-novelist Yasar Kemal. University President Kadri Ozcaldiran made the opening remarks of the ceremony, held at the university's Albert Lonh Hall, and Dean of the Faculty of Science and Letters Omer Oguz presented the doctorate to Kemal.
