CHP's Baykal visits new council of state head

Main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Deniz Baykal yesterday paid a congratulatory visit to Mustafa Birden, the recently elected head of the Council of State, one of Turkey's top judicial bodies. Accompanying Baykal were CHP Secretary-General Onder Sav, General Auditor Mustafa Ozyurek, Deputy Chairman Onur Oymen and group deputy leader Hakkı Suha Okay.
