450 thousands euro support for Ceylan's "Kis Uykusu"

The European Cinema Support Fund (Eurimages) has provided Turkish director Nuri Bilge Ceylan's new movie "Winter Sleep" (Kis Uykusu) with a fund totaling €450,000. A total of 13 projects received support during the 113th meeting of Eurimages, a fund which was established by the Council of Europe in order to improve the European cinema and encourage cinema professionals to establish cooperation. Ceylan's movie has received the highest amount of support ever given by Eurimages during the meeting held in the German city of Dresden. Demet Akbag, Haluk Bilginer and Melisa Sozen take part in Kis Uykusu which was produced in association with Zeyno Film of Turkey, NBC Film, Bredok Film Production of Germany and Memento Films of France.
