Following a physical attack by Volen Siderov, the leader of the Bulgarian far-right nationalist Ataka party, against an ethnic Turkish politician on Sunday, Turkey voiced "concern" yesterday over rising racist attacks on ethnic Turks in neighboring Bulgaria. "We are naturally concerned, and we are closely following the incidents," a Turkish diplomat, speaking under the customary condition of anonymity, told Today's Zaman, when asked about the attack.
