Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc and a group of seven deputies yesterday paid a visit to Pristina, Kosovo. After holding talks with Kosovar Prime Minister Hashim Thaci, Arinc reiterated the importance of maintaining Kosovo's territorial integrity. Arinc also held separate talks with Kosovo's Environment and Spatial Planning Minister Mahir Yagcilar and Naim Trnava, the grand mufti of the Kosovo Islamic community. "Turkey is working hard for the recognition of Kosovo," Arinc told a joint press conference following talks with Deputy Prime Minister Hajredin Kuchi. "Currently 77 countries recognize it, but this number will definitely grow."
