Arinc indicates captive public Servantes to return to Turkey

Speaking after the Council of Ministers meeting on Monday, Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc said that public servants, who had been kidnapped by the PKK terrorist organization, would be released on Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning, and brought back to Turkey. Arinc noted that a delegation to consist of three deputies from the Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) as well as several other officials would bring the kidnapped public servants back to Turkey. Arinc also warned that the situation should not be used as a propaganda tool. Touching on the explosion which occurred at Cilvegozu border gate between Turkey and Syria last month, Arinc recalled that 14 people had been killed and 26 others had been wounded in the explosion and said that eight people in connection with the incident were sent to court today. Stating that an apartment fire in Germany which resulted in death of eight Turkish people on Sunday was also discussed during the meeting, Arinc said that German authorities were conducting a throughout survey on the incident and they were closely following the process. Arinc added that Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdag and Forestry and Water Affairs Minister Veysel Eroglu would attend the commemoration ceremonies to be held in Germany.
