Arinc visits tomb of Alija Izzetbegovic in Sarajevo

Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc on Thursday paid a visit to the tomb of Alija Izzetbegovic, the first President of Bosnia-Herzegovina, in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia-Herzegovina. Stating that Izzetbegovic was a great leader who has showed great resoluteness and success during the war, Arinc said that Izzetbegovic has also tried to ensure unity and solidarity among Bosnians. As part of his contacts to Sarajevo, Arinc also visited the Anadolu Agency's (AA) Regional Office in the Balkans, where he launched the agency's News Transmission System and replied to questions from editors. In response to a question, Arinc said that the government was carrying on with the process to end the terrorism in the country with courage and confidence taking all risks.  Stating that they would benefit from productive critics as destructive ones would receive deserved response from public, Arinc added, "It is our right to be hopeful for the end of the process."
