Atalay holds contacts in Uganda

Deputy Prime Minister Besir Atalay held contacts in Uganda on the last day of his tour to Africa on Thursday. Atalay met with Ugandan Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi and Deputy Foreign Minister Oryem Henry Okello. During the meeting, Okello thanked Atalay for preferring to visit Uganda among 54 African countries. Okello said that Turkey's assistance to Somalia was not only a humanitarian aid, but also contributions to the country's development. Atalay also visited a Turkish school in Kampala, where the students read poems and sang songs in Turkish.
