Ataturk monument opens in Kazakhstan

A monument honoring Turkish Republic founder Mustafa Kemal Ataturk opened yesterday on the banks of the Ishim River in Astana, Kazakhstan. "Ataturk was the greatest leader the Turkish nation has ever produced," President Nursultan Nazarbayev said at the monument's dedication.
