Bagis attends sahur event organized by Istanbul youth branch of AKP

Turkey's EU Minister and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis attended the traditional sahur (pre-dawn meal before fasting) organized by Istanbul youth branch of the Justice and Development Party (AKP) at the Ayoub al-Ansari Mansion. Speaking at the event, Bagis said that Turkey has become a source of inspiration, and that European countries were inspired by Turkey's economic growth, young population and educational achievements. Bagis also underlined the importance of young people's sensitivity towards regional issues, adding that Turkey has become the most eastern part of the West and the most western part of the East.
