Bagis: Cooperation with Qatar will contınue

EU Minister and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis met with Qatari Emir Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani in Qatar, where he is currently paying an official visit. Bagis made a statement following this meeting with Al Thani, saying that they were able to seize the opportunity of discussing numerous developments in the region. "Al Thani enjoys special ties with our Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and President Abdullah Gul. And I'm here to extend Erdogan's greetings to him," Bagis said. Stating that Al Thani has allocated so much time for them and shared his views on various issues in a quite clear and open way, Bagis expressed hope that these relations would make contributions to investments and political relations between the two countries, as well as their joint projects with third countries.
