Bagis urges EU members to cooperate against terrorism
Turkish Minister of EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis said that Turkey’s fight against terrorism was not only domestic, but also an international issue. Bagis received Belgian Ambassador to Ankara Pol de Witte at his office in Ankara. As part of his meeting with de Witte, Bagis said that the terrorist PKK massacre our citizens, just like it poisons the European young people through its control over the widest drug gang in Europe. Stating that efforts are underway to boost cooperation with EU-member countries to hinder PKK’s financial resources in Europe, Bagis said that even in Denmark, which hosts Roj TV, PKK members started to be caught. "In many countries, cooperation with regard to information sharing has been boosted. At this point, there are our common interests. Europeans are taking necessary steps about the issue as well," Bagis added.
