Caglayan attends Turkish-US business forum in Houston

Turkish Economy Minister Zafer Çaglayan on Wednesday attended the Turkish-US Business Forum which was organized by the Texas Turkish American Chamber of Commerce (TTACC), Greater Houston Partnership (GHP) and Ministry of Economy in Houston, where he met businessman from Texas. Speaking at the meeting, Caglayan said that Turkey's relations with the US resembled an unrequited love, noting that the trade volume was below the level Turkey desired despite the strong alliance between the two countries. "We connected Texas and Turkey from the air. We were already connected by the heart. We also still have to connect to each other by the sea. So we will leave no open doors and there will be no excuse not to do business," Caglayan said.
