Turkey is a politically stable country with its own characteristics, as well as a booming economy, said Economy Minister Zafer Caglayan yesterday. "Today, after nine years under the rule of our prime minister, Turkey has become a country with a strong economy," Caglayan told a meeting of the Mus Chamber of Commerce and Industry. "The most pressing problem in the world is unemployment. In the midst of this climate, Turkey, with its young, dynamic population, has reduced unemployment to single digits, according to recent data." He added, "This reflects the measures taken by our government and the incentives and support it has extended."
