Chief of general staff Gen. Basbug decorated with medal of honor in Pentagon

Chief of General Staff Gen. Ilker Basbug, currently in Washington as the guest of his US counterpart Admiral Mike Mullen, yesterday visited Pentagon. Gen. Basbug, who was welcomed with a military ceremony, was reportedly decorated with a medal of honor at a ceremony held at Pentagon. In related news, National Defense Minister Vecdi Gonul, also in the US, met with his US counterpart Robert Gates.
