Christian Democrat Union organizes fast-breaking dinner

The Dutch opposition party Christian Democratic Union (CDU) has organized a fast-breaking dinner to host representatives from Muslim institutions. Rotterdam Deputy Mayor Hugo de Jonge, Council member Muzaffer Cetin, Feijenoord district Deputy Mayor Turan Yazir, Charlois district Deputy Mayor Alaattin Erdal as well as Turkish politicians, representatives of Muslim non-governmental organizations from different ethnicities and a large number of mosque directors attended the dinner. Stating that these fast-breaking dinners that have been organized for the last 10 years has became a tradition, de Jonge said that he was pleased to be together with Muslims. He added that they wanted to strengthen relations with the Muslim community through such fast-breaking dinners that they organized as a Christian party.
