Continuing Africa outreach, Turkey setting up four new embassies

Continuing Turkey's Africa outreach, one of its top diplomatic initiatives in recent years, Ankara is set to establish 15 new embassies in Africa, starting with four this year. Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has already appointed Turkey's first-ever ambassadors to Gabon, Namibia, Niger and Gambia, directing them to prioritize economic ties. The ambassadors are as follows: Murat Ahmet Yoruk (Namibia), Ali Riza Ozcoskun (Gambia), Hasan Ulusoy (Niger), and Ahmet Riza Demirer (Gabon).
