Davutoglu meets Oman's Deputy Prime Minister

Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu yesterday met Oman's Deputy Prime Minister Seyyid Fahd bin al-Said in Oman. As part of his visit, Davutoglu said that Turkey's relations with Gulf countries have been gradually improving with infrastructure investments in those countries. Touching on the Syria crisis, Davutoglu said that the Geneva 2 conference was important, but that participants of the meeting and related fundamental parameters remained unknown. Concerning his Iraqi counterpart Hoshyar Zebari's Turkey visit, Davutoglu said, "I believe we will take important steps to develop the bilateral relations, which had conjunctural problems in recent times, to the highest level. I will also pay a visit to Iraq."
