If the Greek Cypriot administration takes the European Union's rotating presidency next July before a settlement is reached on Cyprus, Turkey could freeze its ties with the Union, said Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu yesterday. Davutoglu complained that while the Turkish side is constantly taking the initiative on Cyprus, Greek Cyprus stalls for time and is uncompromising. "We will not deal with the Greek Cypriot administration as EU president," he said.
