Davutoglu visits Nizip in the first day of ramadan
Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu yesterday broke his fast in the container city accommodating Syrian refugees in the Nizip district of southeastern province of Gaziantep. Addressing the Syrian refugees in Turkey, Davutoglu said, “We call you ‘guests’ out of respect, but you are the actual owners of this territory and you will be always treated in this way,” Davutoglu said. As part of his visit to Nizip with his wife Sare Davutoglu and Family and Social Policies Minister Fatma sahin during the first day of Ramadan, Davutoglu also said that Syrians would always remain as a family for them. “The orphans remaining from them are our children,” Davutoglu added.
