Epic poet Daglarca passes away

Fazil Husnu Daglarca, one of the most prolific poets of the republican era and a pioneer of epic Turkish poetry, died yesterday in Istanbul at the age of 94. Baskent University İstanbul Hospital Chief of Medicine Kursad Tokel told reporters that Daglica died following treatment for chronic renal failure.
