Erdogan welcomes Senegalese counterpart

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday welcomed his Senegalese counterpart Abdoul Mbaye at his office in an official ceremony which was attended by Environment and Urbanization Minister Erdogan Bayraktar, Prime Ministry Undersecretary Efkan Ala, Ministry of Transportation, Maritime and Communication Undersecretary Habib Soluk, Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Naci Koru, Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT) Director General Ibrahim Sahin and other officials. After the national anthems of the two countries have been sung, tete-a-tete and interdelegationary meetings were held and then Erdogan and Mbaye held a joint press conference. Speaking at the conference, Erdogan said that he would like to visit Gaza as soon as possible to personally see the latest situation on the spot. Erdogan yesterday met with Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev. The two-hour meeting was closed to the press.
