Gul to attend non-aligned summit in Egypt

In keeping with Ankara's multidimensional foreign policy, Turkey will be represented at the highest level at a summit next week of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt. President Abdullah Gul will be at the summit representing Turkey, which has guest status at the gathering, in the midst of representatives of 118 member countries and 17 observer members. Gul will have a number of bilateral meetings with leaders from Africa and South America on the sidelines of the meeting, which will also be attended by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.
