Iranian Chief of Ggeneral Staff takes a step back

Iranian Chief of General Staff Gen. Hasan Firouzabadi who has previously criticized Turkey over its Syria policy, stating that Turkey is responsible for the bloodshed in Syria, and that if Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey continued with their existent approach to Syria, they should know that Turkey and the others will be next in line, took a step back from his statement. Speaking to the Fars News Agency last week, Firouzabadi said, "The existence of some differences which are only some misunderstandings with historical background will not have impacts on the good ties between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the neighbors." Firouzabadi also sent greetings to his brothers from Turkey, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, saying that he’s to have common Islamic values with them," Firouzabadi added.
