Lebanese President meets with Gul, Erdogan

Lebanese President Michel Suleiman yesterday arrived in Ankara for a one-day working visit and met with President Abdullah Gul. Gul welcomed his Lebanese counterpart with a ceremony at the Cankaya Presidential Palace, and then the two leaders had a tete-a-tete meeting. Gul later hosted a working luncheon for Suleiman which was also attended by Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and National Intelligence Agency (MIT) Undersecretary Hakan Fidan. During the luncheon, such issues as the conflict in Syria, situation of immigrants and border violations were discussed. Afterwards, Suleiman proceeded to the central building of Prime Ministry, where he held a meeting with Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, which was again attended by Davutoglu and Fidan as well.
