New TRNC president Eroglu meets with PM Erdogan

Paying his first official visit to Ankara as Turkish Cypriot head of state, recently elected Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) President Dervis Eroglu yesterday met with Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan. During the meeting, the state of the ongoing Cyprus negotiations was discussed. The negotiations, after a brief break due to the TRNC presidential elections, are expected to resume on May 26.
