Norwegian FM to pay working visit to Turkey

In a working visit to Turkey today, Norwegian Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Store will speak with his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu about bilateral relations, cooperation to help mediate disputes, Turkey's European Union membership bid, and regional and international issues, said the Foreign Ministry yesterday. A memorandum of understanding on exchanging diplomats between the two countries, in order to share knowledge and experience in the field of peace and reconciliation, will also be signed, said the ministry. "This meeting should contribute to the enhancement of relations between Turkey and Norway, two NATO allies that share the same basic values and ideals with similar approaches on international issues," the minstry added.
