Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a telephone conversation with his British counterpart David Cameron and Danish counterpart Helle Thorning-Schmidt yesterday while he was visiting Trabzon Mehmet Ali Yilmaz Sport Complex, reported by officials from the Office of the Prime Minister. The two conversations focused on Syria in which all parties came to terms that Syria's use of chemical weapons towards its innocent citizens is inacceptable and the international community should not be an onlooker to this injustice, but take action as soon as possible. Besides, the United Kingdom has reportedly accelerated its preparations for an eventual military intervention to Syria and Cameron called on the parliament to hold an emergency meeting on Syria on Thursday. For his part, French President Francois Hollande stated that they were ready to punish those who used gas against innocent civilians.
