Ricciardone: "Turkey will be stronger after its june general elections"

After its June 12 general elections, Turkey will emerge a stronger country, predicted US Ambassador to Turkey Francis Ricciardone yesterday. "As you know, we're neutral on elections and parties, but we're extremely optimistic, as usual," Ricciardone told reporters at a working breakfast with members of the Diplomatic Correspondents' Association (DMD). "Of course, nobody can predict the election results, with one exception: in my opinion, Turkey will become stronger after the elections. One thing is certain: the debates will be interesting and the entire world will be watching Turkey."
