Spanish Ambassador to Ankara praises Turkey's economy

In an exclusive interview with the Turkiye daily, Spanish Ambassador to Ankara Cristobal Gonzales Aller said that Turkey's economy has written a success story to be taken as an example by the entire world and envied by the EU. "As a result, Spain has chosen Turkey as the target country for investments. This is the case not only for us, but also for other EU-member countries. We know that Turkey is the way out for EU to overcome the crisis that it has been suffering," Aller said, stressing that 200 Spanish companies are still operating in Turkey and that mutual trade between the two countries amounted to $8 billion this year. Aller also expressed belief that this figure would reach $18 billion in the next five years.
