Dutch authorities have lifted the need for a visa for Turkish service providers and self-employed Turks. According to a letter sent by Dutch Minister for Immigration, Integration and Asylum Policy Gerd Leers and Dutch Foreign Minister Uri Rosenthal to the Dutch parliament, Turkish service providers and self-employed Turks will be able to enter and stay in Netherlands for a period less than three months without needing a visa on the condition that they document their status as such. Netherlands-based Turkish lawyer Ejder Kose said that there was no turning back from the letter, which stipulates visa-free entry to the Netherlands for Turkish businessmen, unless Turkey takes a step otherwise.
