THY to add 20 boeing 737s to its fleet

Turkey's national carrier, Turkish Airlines (THY), has signed an agreement with aerospace giant Boeing to buy 20 new 737 aircraft, THY said yesterday. The deal covers 20 cutting-edge 737s: ten 737-800s and ten 737-900ERs (Extended Range). The 737-900ER will be the latest of the 737 group to join the THY fleet. The carrier will pay Boeing some $1.6 billion for the new planes.
