THY to purchase 15 777-300ER aircrafts

Turkish Airlines (THY) and Boeing have signed the firm order contract to purchase 15 777-300ER aircrafts with a total list price of $4.7 billion. The contract signed between the two companies which was announced for the first time last October is also the aircraft order with the highest value in the history of the THY. As part of the contract, THY has also options for five additional aircrafts. The delivery of aircrafts is set to enable THY to fly to many new destinations.
