TOKI to construct one million houses by end of 2023

Housing Administration of Turkey (TOKI) Chairman Ahmet Haluk Karabel said yesterday that they would not ease down until they construct one million houses. Stating that TOKI has constructed 557,850 houses until now, Karabel said, "As commended by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, we will continue our performance by the end of 2023 with a new housing project of 500,000 houses." Karabel made a statement on the occasion of the World Habitat Day which is celebrated on the first Monday of each October, saying that we are apperceiving the World Habitat Day with an agenda consisting of the priorities of our country with regard to urban renewal and earthquake transformation. "TOKI will continue to work for housing stock," Karabel added.
